ICU BECOMES THE 109TH MEMBER OF SPORTACCORD

Following the positive vote by the General Assembly on 31 May 2013 in Saint Petersburg, the International Cheer Union (ICU) became the 109th Member of SportAccord. The ICU is recognized as the world governing body of Cheer and the authority on all matters related to this sport.


TRILATERAL AGREEMENT SIGNED BY FIG, ICU AND SPORTACCORD

SPORTACCORD COUNCIL GIVES INTERNATIONAL CHEER UNION POSITIVE RECOMMENDATION

On 24 November 2011, the International Cheer Union received a positive recommendation by the SportAccord Council. The recommendation is an important further step toward full membership rights in SportAccord, which will be voted on by the General Assembly at SportAccord’s annual convention in May.
