    The International Cheer Union (ICU) was established on 26 April 2004 and is the recognized world governing body of Cheer (Cheerleading & Performance Cheer). ICU comprises of 121 member National Cheer Federations and 10 million athletes on all continents.

  • EDUCATION

    The International Cheer Union provides coaches training and certifications on safety, rules, technical training and overall program development strategies. Course work mixed with video and practical application training, and required field work provides great value to the coaches!

  • CHAMPIONSHIPS

    The International Cheer Union administers various levels of championship events yearly throughout the world. The events are created for club or national teams and consist of scholastic, continental and global championships. ICU's 120 member nations are able to take place in these championships.
