The mandate of the ECU Competition Rules Committee is to advise the ECU Board on all issues related to the ECU Competition Rulebook, its drafting and interpretation.
In order to fulfill this mandate, the ECU Competition Rules Committee will particularly have the following tasks:
- Propose changes of the ECU Rulebook to the ECU Board for approval;
- Interpret any aspects of the ECU Rulebook;
- Review the ECU Rulebook after each European Cheerleading Championship in order to identify possible loop-holes of the rules.
- Ensure consistency with the rules of the International Cheer Union to enhance the development of a common set of rules, to improve cooperation between European States in organizing competitions, as well as to facilitate competition of European teams in the Cheerleading World Championships;
- Prepare suggestions for changes of the ICU Rulebook and send this proposal to the ICU;
- Give advice on specific questions related to the ECU Rulebook to the ECU Board;
- Give advice on specific questions related to the ECU Rulebook to the coaches and teams;
- Produce a summary guideline of “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ) to enhance the understanding of the ECU Rulebook;
- Provide training and training material, especially after changes of the ECU Rulebook, and for the national implementation of the ECU Rulebook.
- Provide expertise to coaches and teams for national implementation of the ECU Rulebook.

The mandate of the ECU Judges Committee is to provide an expert, objective and balanced judging panels for any competition organised by ECU or those of its members.
In order to fulfil this mandate, the ECU Judges Committee will particularly have the following tasks:
- Create and maintain a registry of judges working with and for ECU and its members;
- Establish a system for quantifying experience and quality of judges;
- Prepare, modify or adopt a system for training, certifying and re-certifying judges and provide it to ECU registered judges;
- Establish procedures for delegating or inviting judges to competitions organised by ECU or those of its members;
- Establish procedures and guidelines for assigning judging positions and tasks to invited or delegated judges;
- Establish rules and guidelines for event organisers regarding judges and judges procedures;
- Assist ECU members in developing or extending their national judges training programs;
- Coordinate with the ECU Competition Rules Committee in regards to rules interpretation;
- Coordinate with ICU, especially in the field of judges training and registration.

The mandate of the ECU Athletes and Coaches Committee is to represent the athletes and coaches and their corresponding needs. It also co-operates with other ECU Committees providing source documentation for further development. It contains demographic studies such as age group and skill level mapping for better positioning of education across the athletes via camps and workshops. It helps to understand the dynamics of European cheerleading from the athletes perspectives.

The mandate of the ECL Steering Committee is to lead European Cheer League (ECL). The committee is responsible for overseeing all of the competitions that will participate in ECL and for dealing with different issues that relate to the ECL. The Committee also interprets the rules of the ECL and makes the decisions that are necessary to successfully finish the ECL season.
