The World Games

Below please find details on the VIDEO APPLICATION ENTRY for the 2 of the 5 remaining qualification opportunities for The World Games (TWG 2025) Chengdu China (7-17 August 2025) TWG 2025 Pom Doubles division.
 
Each ICU National Federation country throughout the world has the opportunity to qualify 1 Pom Doubles Team by VIDEO APPLICATION ENTRY and/or at the 2025 ICU World Championships for the 5 remaining TWG 2025 open spots. 
 
Even if you plan to send a Pom Doubles Team to the ICU World Championships and you seek to qualify for TWG 2025, ICU recommends that you also send a VIDEO APPLICATION ENTRY to increase your chances to qualify for The World Games 2025 in August.  
 
(Note:  Because Ukraine, Japan, Mexico, USA and China have already qualified for TWG 2025, these 5 countries are not eligible to submit a video. These countries are eligible to compete at the 2025 ICU World Championships Pom Doubles Division of course; however, these 5 countries cannot qualify another team through the VIDEO APPLICATION or at the 2025 ICU World Championships. Only countries who have not yet qualified for The World Games 2025 will be eligible to receive a TWG 2025 bid via the Video Application or at the 2025 World Championships)
To submit your VIDEO APPLICATION ENTRY, please following the enclosed steps:
 
1.  Prepare 1 National Team Pom Doubles Routine* - to video (1 video per nation is allowed) 
*The Pom Doubles routine must follow the ICU Pom Doubles Rules, Time Limit of 1:30 (1 minute 30 seconds) and the ICU Pom Doubles Scoresheet 
 
3.  OPEN NOW:  Submit your 1 video by the Tuesday 01 April 2025 deadline! 
Once the submission deadline is closed, the videos will be judged and ranked. Following the Pom Doubles results announced at the 2025 ICU World Championships (Thursday 24 April 2025), the Top 3 Pom Doubles National Teams who have not yet qualified for TWG 2025 will receive bids for TWG 2025 (TWG 2025 acceptance rules apply). Then, the Top 2 Ranked Videos who have not qualified for TWG 2025, will receive the final 2 bids to TWG 2025. This will be announced also on Thursday 24 April 2025.
